3 Ways to Use Different Gases in Your Halloween Festivities

At Adams Gas, we’re not short a few fun applications for our gas products. Whilst we generally stock gas products for industrial purposes, our expertise in the field has helped us to learn a few things about making the most out of gas and using it to great effect.

Halloween is a time of year that is perfect for spooky effects and since it’s easy to create mist, fog and mystery with gases, we thought we’d share a few spooky ideas with you.

Dry Ice

Dry ice can provide a centrepiece for your table, creating an immediate shroud of intrigue to your party and setting the scene for the spookiness that it is steeped in. Made from compressed carbon dioxide gas, dry ice bubbling out of a cauldron is something of a classic at Halloween, and the effect is one of superb, kitsch horror.

Balloons

This may sound obvious, but what would your party be without black and orange helium balloons? Helium dispensers and canisters are very easy to come by and are central to the decoration of your party venue. Unfortunately, the inhalation of helium does little to create the authentic witch, vampire or pirate voice that you may wish to adopt for the evening.

Smoke Machines

A final flourish for your party is surely the billowing mist across the moors effect that only a smoke machine can provide. Having one at the entrance hall for your guests to emerge through is the perfect way to introduce your friends to the horror that they are about to experience, and by horror, we mean enjoyable party games! CO2 gas is the one here: we have a range of dispensers and canisters for such uses, and they are also suitable for paintballing.

However you choose to use gas for your party, ensure that it is set up correctly by an adult who is responsible for the venue or its hire and by following the instructions. We have a range of very spooky options available for you and your festivities, so contact us today.
