A small disposable helium canister (0.95L) fills around 10 standard 9-inch latex balloons, a medium (2.2L) around 25, and a large (3.3L) around 40. Larger latex or foil balloons use more gas, so you will get fewer.
A disposable canister arrives ready to use and is recycled once empty — ideal for a single event. A refillable helium tank (2L, 9.4L, 20L or 50L) holds much more gas and can be topped up rather than replaced, which works out cheaper per balloon if you inflate regularly.
No. Adams Gas supply is rent-free, including trade manifold packs of 9 or 16 cylinders. You pay for the gas, not for holding the bottle — so there are no long-term rental contracts.
It depends on the balloon size and material — foil balloons typically last longer than latex. See our guide on how long helium balloons float for what to expect and how to make them last.
Yes. Helium is non-flammable and non-toxic, which is why it is the standard gas for balloon inflation. Never inhale it, keep cylinders upright in a ventilated space, and follow the safety information supplied with your cylinder.
